A smaller version of the "Graflok Universal 4x5" adapter designed to fit a rare version of the Graflex Speed Graphic or Crown Graphic cameras from the 1950s with an image area of 3in x 4in AND a reduced size version of the Graflok Slide-Lock back. 

This particular combination is very rare, so take a close look at the pictures here and be sure of your camera model is an exact match before ordering this version of the adapter.

To make this niche project possible, all items are MADE TO ORDER using on-demand manufacturing technology. Once your order is placed it cannot be canceled and cannot be returned under any circumstances.

MODIFICATION REQUIRED

NONE: If your camera features Graflock 3x4 compatible Slide-Lock hardware then it should fit snuggly and securely without any modification to your camera. If you have any doubt, email us BEFORE YOU ORDER. 

GROUND GLASS

The adapter must be used with a 82mm x 110mm ObscuraFlex™ focusing screen. Sold separately.

PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS

Similar to shooting fine grain low ASA film, this adapter requires plenty of light to produce the best quality images. A wide open high quality lens should function well in good light. Depending on the capabilities of specific smartphone models, good results may also be possible with high ISO settings and/or extended exposure times in less ideal lighting scenarios.

  • Low light photography is not recommended.
  • Flash sync photography is not currently possible.

The ObscuraFlex™ system is still in active development and is constantly being tweaked and improved. The version you receive will be the latest version available at the time of your order and may not be visually identical to the version pictured here.

DIY USE

If you are planning to use the adapter to create your own phone cradle or other attachment use the SHOP menu for individual parts.
