Part of the new "ObscuraFlex Pro" ecosystem. 

This adapter features the new 70mm ObscuraFlex Pro bayonet mounting system. 

Everything you need to get your Graflok Slide-Lock compatible 2x3 (aka Graflok 23 or 6x9) camera up and running as a vintage-style digital camera. 

Use this adapter to harness the power of your smartphone or digital camera to capture digital stills and video with the look and feel of vintage photography with most Graflok compatible 2x3 cameras from the 1950s onwards. 

This version of the ObscuraFlex adapter is designed to fit any 2x3 cameras equipped with standard Graflok style "slide-lock" mounting mechanism as patented by Graflex. 

I don't have the resources to confirm the compatibility of every camera that claims to be "Graflok Compatible" or even "Graflock" but many manufacturers introduced compatible Slide-Lock mechanisms. 

Check your camera carefully before ordering and compare with the photos and these measurements:
Flange Dimensions: 80mm (3.15in) x 116mm (4.5in)
Flange Thickness: ~6mm (0.24in)

  • Graflex Century Graphic 23 (pictured)
  • Graflex 2×3 Pacemaker Crown/Speed Graphic with Graflok back
  • Graflex XL & SW
  • Mamiya Press G
  • Mamiya Universal Press with G-Type Adapter

Theoretically any camera that accepts Graflex 2×3 (Graflok 23) accessories such as RH-8, RH-10, RH-12, RH-20, Graphic 22/23 roll-film holders, Grafmatic 2×3 magazines, standard 2×3 Graflok focusing panels, Mamiya Press G-Type accessories, and most Horseman Graflok 23 accessories. Some possible candidates are Arca-Swiss 6×9, Ebony 6×9, Shen-Hao 6×9 and if you have one of those, or another camera you suspect may be compatible feel free to reach out via the contact page. 

The ObscuraFlex Pro 70mm bayonet mount can be made backwards compatible with the original ObscuraFlex "Twist-Lock" phone cradles by using the Twist-Lock Converter.

To make this niche project possible, all items are MADE TO ORDER using on-demand manufacturing technology. Once your order is placed it cannot be canceled and cannot be returned under any circumstances.

MODIFICATION REQUIRED

NONE: If your camera body features a standard Graflock style Slide-Lock mechanism (as pictured) then it should fit snuggly and securely without any modification to your camera. If you have any doubt, email us BEFORE YOU ORDER. 

GROUND GLASS

The adapter replaces your focusing back and must be used with an ObscuraFlex™ focusing screen.

COMPATIBILITY

This adapter is designed to fit standard Graflock style Slide-Lock hardware as patented by Graflex.

This adapter features the new "Pro-Mount" – for backwards compatibility and smartphone cradles, select the "twist-lock converter" mount. Purchase your specific phone cradle separately from the "Shop" menu.

  • Most items are made to order and have a 2 to 4 week production time, please plan accordingly.
  • To avoid loosing money we have calculated flat shipping rates based on our actual costs.

Orders shipped outside the US may be subject to import duty imposed by your country's government, these cost are NOT included in the purchase price and are your responsibility.

PROTOTYPE CHANGES

The ObscuraFlex™ system is still in active development and is constantly being tweaked and improved. The version you receive will be the latest version available at the time of your order and may not be visually identical to the version pictured here.

DIY USE

If you are planning to use the adapter to create your own phone cradle or other attachment use the SHOP menu for individual parts.
